How to Create a Focal Wall

Emily Henderson and Orlando give us three totally different ways to create a focal wall that will add a creative and fun aspect to your space. The first method of using a large piece of artwork that is two thirds the size of the piece of furniture beneath it works great for large canvas prints. The second method uses two large pieces of the same size and style; when they are hung close together they are seen as a pair and almost become one piece. The third is a great way to create a gallery wall with one large anchor piece hung off center. Pieces of different sizes, some with similar color schemes, are hung to fill the wall. A visual flow is created by dispersing the black and white pieces with the colorful ones instead of separating the two styles. Hanging art or family photos is the best way to personalize your home, use these great tips and your walls will be comparable to a real art gallery!
